JMS Middle School Math Counts

For the 3rd year in a row, the JMS Middle School has participated in our chapter MATHCOUNTS® competition. Twenty-five local middle school schools from Bexar County converged on the UTSA campus for a fun-filled Saturday of individual and team problem-solving contests. Our eight students included Talia Howard, Ashley Malik, Austin Triana, Zachary Treu, Wanda Westerman, Cha Patterson, Maddy Flores, and Hunter Freckleton. Our team's overall placement was 14th out of twenty-five which was an improvement from last year's 16th place finish. Over 200 students participated and half of our students finished in the top 100! Congratulations on the great job and hard work each of these students put in over the last few months.
